ObsidianWire 4-Way for Tele Loaded Control Plate - chrome
This setup includes a high quality Tele control plate, complete with a set of Obsidian® Pro-Wired™ Electronics and a high quality chrome knobs.
The ObsidianWire Custom 4-Way harness for Telecaster® gives you all the fun of the traditional vintage Tele®, whilst adding a tasty fourth switch position to make it scream. Best of all, these are super easy to install, and allow for unlimited solder-less pickup changes with ObsidianWire Plug, Play and Enjoy connectors.
The Custom 4-way harness follows a tried and true formula, giving your Tele the familiar master tone, master volume and three positions that we all know and love. Plus a little extra.
Kick your Tele into the new fourth position and your old work horse becomes a beast with the neck and bridge pickups working in series to provide a more powerful humbucker like tone. You can use this position for stronger rhythm and screaming leads.

1: Neck & Bridge Pickup in Series (Humbucker Like Tone)

3: Neck & Bridge Pickup in Parallel (Traditional Tele)

To make your tone crystal clear at lower volumes we also include an ObsidianWire Custom Spec Treble Bleed Mod. This prevents tone 'muddiness' at low volumes by allowing high frequencies to pass along a separate path to your amp, rather than being stopped short by the increasing resistance at the volume control.

Compatibility:
ObsidianWire Pro-Wired Electronics for Telecaster, are designed to be a direct fit for American and Mexican series Fender® Telecasters. They can also be used to upgrade Japanese Fender & Squier guitars with some adjustments. In the least, you will need a new genuine Fender USA control plate and new 1/4" knobs to fit the higher grade electronics. We cannot guarantee that these will fit any other guitar.
