    What does a phaser pedal do?

    A phaser pedal (also known as a phase shifter) adds movement by modulating the center frequencies of filter peaks.

    Who uses a phaser?

    Phaser pedals became popular back in the 1960s. This effect was used by Jimi Hendrix, Brian May, and Eddie Van Halen. EVH was fond of the Phase 90 - check out MXR EVH90 Eddie Van Halen Phase 90.

    What does a flanger pedal do?

    A flanger pedal is a time based delay effect that doubles your input signal and plays it back. If you lengthen the delay in your flanger it can have a chorus effect.
