Use it in full humbucker (series) mode or switch it to split mode or parallel. This provides a crunchy & warm tones like an overwound PAF. Normally this is used for a bridge pickup, but it can work in either neck or bridge positions. It allows you to get PAF and fat P-90 tones combined, yet still retains some Strat like bell tones. The Red/Blue also has the tone of distortion type pickups, but without the overwhelming neck to bridge volume jump.
