Chorus Voice One offers three controls called Rate 1, Depth 1 and Dream 1. Rate 1 controls the speed of the LFO waveform used to modulate delay analog BBD delay line. Depth 1 determines the LFO’s maximum travel time and intensity. Dream 1 controls the amount of effect present in the summed output.
Chorus Voice Two offers three controls called Rate 2, Depth 2 and Dream 2. Rate 2 controls the speed of the LFO waveform used to modulate delay analog BBD delay line. Depth 2 determines the LFO’s maximum travel time and intensity. Dream 2 controls the amount of the effect present in summed output.
Chorus pedals usually sound best when placed after distortion in the signal chain. Thus, if you are using multiple stomp boxes, place the Dreamstar Chorus after your distortion. If using a variety of pedals, such as delays and other modulation effects, try the Dreamstar in different parts of the signal chain until you find the sound you like best. If you have an effects loop in your amplifier, try putting the chorus in the effects loop for a different sound.
