It eliminates unpleasant high-order harmonics, using a low-pass filter leaving only a full, rich, distorted sound. When the Clipper is switched on, the instrument's volume control adjusts the amount of distortion. The output level of the distorted signal is controlled with the volume knob. The Blue Clipper produces a super stinging fuzz effect when combined with a Green Ringer.
All Dan Armstrong effects are hand made in the USA and are built in a sturdy, attractive aluminum housing with only the finest quality components. The stomp box effects are all made so that they can be latched together for a clean effects set-up. All Dan Armstrong stomp boxes include a 6" patch cable for patching into other effects.
